The Hexocone Kite was designed through a series of prototype tests. As the form evolved, the basic design remained the same: to construct the kite from hexagonal modules. The final kite is made up of cones extruded from hexagons of varyings shapes and sizes, faning out in a wing-like form to catch wind.
