Deborah Herr Richter is a designer and writer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

As the former Creative & Media Director of the Atlanta Jewish Times, Deborah refreshed the paper’s visual identity and layout. This led to her first-place win of the AJPA 2019 Simon Rockower Award, Excellence in Overall Graphic Design.

Previously based in Manhattan, she worked at Innovant as the Marketing Design & Communications Manager. Past professional experience includes jewelry production at Kara Ross NY, graphic design at Development Design Group, and editorial writing at Cool Hunting.

Deborah graduated from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Architecture and minored in Writing and American Culture Studies. Interests include organizing (files, closets – you name it), playing (with her 2 young kids and Mahjong), and reading (classic lit and beach reads).
